uploading pligg to external server

Got into the external host site, familiarised myself with the control panel.

Strine.net.au isn't pointing to tehnameservers yet so used the IP address http://66.216.73.128 to access the site.

Set up a new database
strine_db1

and database user
strine_us1

for installation of Pligg.

After CHMODing all the files, and running the upload, the users table didn't install. I tried to copy across the sql from the one on my harddrive but it didn't like that much :-) Checked the Pligg forum - apparently there's a problem with MySQL 4, which is what the external host is using. I'll run this fix this afternoon and have another go at the install
